TriDent Equine Dental Education Limited
TriDent Equine Dental Education Ltd is an independent training organisation established in 2011. The training courses are aimed at people wanting to begin their training as an equine dental care provider through to those already established in the industry wanting to improve their knowledge and skills (cpd). We currently run two courses a year in the spring and autumn covering both theory and practical aspects of equine dentistry. Many of our students have passed the BEVA/BVDA and WWAED UK equine dental exams and set up successful businesses in the UK.
BAEDT
The British Association of Equine Dental Technicians is the largest equine dental organisation in the UK with both EDT and Veterinary members. We are currently leading the campaign for EDT legislation within the UK, which has included a recent visit to parliament to discuss the progress of potential legislative changes. Our members have been assessed through an examination run independently by BEVA/BVDA and are also required to be assessed on the standard for their practical work as part of their CPD requirements to remain as a member. The BAEDT has recently put together a dedicated student program to support the progression of potential EDTs through their training and the assessment process to become fully qualified EDTs.
