Dale is the founder of the International Association of Equine Dentistry, the Academy of Equine Dentistry, the Horse Dentistry and Bitting Journal, World Wide Equine, and the Equine Gnathological Training Institute. He currently serves as President of World Wide Equine, Inc. and the Equine Gnathological Training Institute, Inc.
A respected international speaker, Dale has presented on topics including the history of equine gnathology, the hyoid apparatus, bitting, and the five pairs of gnathological determinants. His contributions to the field have been recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Equine Dentistry from the IAED and an Outstanding Service Award for his lifelong work in the equine dental industry. He has also received an honorary veterinary medicine degree in equine dentistry from Mexico and Latin American countries.
